OXFORD, Ohio The IPFW track and field team traveled to Oxford, Ohio for the 30th installment of the Miami Invitational on Saturday at George L. Rider Track.The highlight of the day for the 'Dons came in the 800 meter race as sophomore standout Brittany Beard recorded her first first-place finish of the outdoor season in the event. Her time of 2:12.84 was a half a second faster than the time she recorded last week in San Diego and was just under three seconds off her school-record time of 2:10.65 that she set as a freshman last May. Senior Emily Craig also competed in the event, turning in a time of 2:46.52.
